Custom laminate table tops with ribbed brass edging.
What happens when a client wants a product that doesn’t exist?
You create it.
Flower Child a new café in Westfield Chatswood is now open – in contrast to the starkly lit atmosphere of a shopping centre it brightens your day by bringing the outdoors inside.
Owners Chris Lu and Adam Choker also run the HAPPY as LARRY food truck and Choker’s brother, Ramsay,
The Grounds.
To bring this space to life they engaged Caroline Choker, of
ACME&Co. who also designed The Grounds. The space simulates an atrium, with wicker chairs, tiled floors and hanging flower baskets. Natural light from a skylight above filters through the steel framework around the space.
Caroline approached Atmosphere Custom Furniture seeking table tops that would work within an opulent 1930’s style atrium. She was after a profile brass edge with an antique finish. After a successful global search for a supplier Atmosphere Custom Furniture had molds and a prototype made. Once approved the raw product was imported and their local steel fabricators shaped it onto laminated table tops delivering a stunning result.
